Allen Ely Technical Director

Allen has more than 20 years of experience at pacproinc®, where he is responsible for electrical design, programming and new product development, and he supports system installations and equipment start up.

Allen graduated from the RCA Technical Institute with a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, and he has completed continuing education coursework at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Villanova.  Throughout his three decades in the food equipment industry, Allen has specialized in interleaving and underleaving equipment.

Having seen the evolution of paper interleaving equipment, he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the pacproinc® team.

Prior to entering the world of food equipment design, Allen worked in the electronics industry—including stints with Vishay Intertechnology, Analytical Development, Control Process, and Mechtronics Industries—where he designed digital controls for machine automation and instrumentation used for environmental testing.

He has contributed to every major product line, design improvement and patent application, and he is co-inventor of U.S. patents #5,768,857, #6,827,545 and #8,635,837.  Allen continues to spearhead all applications engineering activities, while providing leadership and knowledge of the food industry to engineering and field service departments.
