Food Service Sausage System

7ytF-gfJHfk8B6yDxq2xpb1-gWsxHyJZDAzFC1NSrZ4Pacproinc® introduces a new solution for packaging frozen breakfast sausage patties. The system automates the traditional layerpack packaging format that places a group of sliced sausage patties onto a piece of paper and then stacks the layers to the desired count. The system is capable of processing up to 8 lanes or 26” in total product width. It interfaces directly with high speed slicing equipment and can process up to 120 rows of product per minute. The system features servo technology and PLC control to make setup and changeover quick and easy and, as with all of our solutions this system is supported by our 24×7 service department. Whether your current equipment is obsolete, unsupported or you’re looking to reduce your costs and increase your production, this system can help.

Land-Fill Free Status

Packaging Progressions, Inc. has achieved land-fill free status, the company announced on April 3rd.

The company’s waste is reused, recycled or processed as a renewable fuel at a state-of-the-art Energy-From-Waste facility. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has stated that Energy-From-Waste plants are a “clean, reliable, renewable source of energy” that “produces electricity with less environmental impact than almost any other source of electricity.”

Through its land-fill free program, pacproinc® was able to divert more than 250,000 lbs of waste from entering their local land-fill.

pacproinc® President, Dante Pietrinferni states, “Through an aggressive recycling policy, we have been moving in this direction for many years, however, we are proud to have finally achieved landfill free status. We strongly believe this is the right thing to do for the environment and future generations.”

Packaging Progressions, Inc. believes that we should all be environmental stewards at home and at work which is why the company has implemented this environmental sustainability program.
